“The Bluebird” is a video sketch for everyone who wants to share kindness, emotional warmth and stay connected through this giving. The narrator’s line’s illustrated by the movement of dress shape fabric with the tree bark print on it. The tree’s pattern symbolizes the embodiment of the lungs of our planet. Nature is struggling to breathe because of pollution and global issues’ ignorance. That’s why humanity experiences an equal response from nature as a virus which we weren’t ready for. The Bluebird itself is a symbol of hope, love and empathy, reconnection with nature, each other and ourselves.
Here, you can watch the first video from the potential series of short media performances involving different art forms. The project’s participants will come from all over the world to establish a community for sharing comparison, gratitude and kindness through the distance.

“Defeating the Dragons Within”
As the world turns to new possibilities
Perhaps a glimmering of wisdom
Will arise.
So that we no longer
Esteem money and those who possess it
Honouring instead generosity of spirit
And kindness.
Paying obeisance to the hands that create beauty
From thread and wood and stone and metal.
Valuing the rhythms of music and dance,
And those that invite us to this joy.
Embracing poetry and art,
Measuring, if we must measure at all,
Artists and all creation
By the abundance they bring into our lives.
When money is no longer a yardstick of success
We can celebrate kindness and beauty
And let the dragons who hoard their gold
Retreat to the stony dark caves from whence they came
Invisible to the dancing, singing, loving world of
Those who know how to share.

Now more than ever
Is it time to dream
While the experts
Talk worriedly of markets,
And the tough get going.
While travellers look for a return
To new horizons,

Of a diminishing of greed,

Проект “Синяя птица”
Наш небольшой сюжет “Синяя Птица”, созданный на платформе zoom во время карантина, это история того, как в столь странное и непростое для всех нас время, теплыми словами и дружеским вниманием мы поддерживаем друг друга, как бы передавая из экрана в экран Синюю Птицу- символ надежды и любви.
Мониша, индийская писательница и мой прекрасный друг, зачитывает свои поэтические зарисовки, находясь на карантине в Гоа. Данное время, говорит она, дано нам для того, чтобы остановиться, оглянуться и переосмыслить наше существование и ценности. Это время мечтать! Мечтать о новых светлых горизонтах, о мире без рассовых и кастовых клише, о более глубоких тонких связях между людьми и Природой. В своем монологе Вера, юнная актриса Эдинбургского театра ТОТ, затрагивает впросы экологии. Она говорит о важной роли деревьев- легких нашей планеты, о том как Земля вздохнула с облегчением без нашей суеты, о Синей Птице. Графические экраны мои, о них чуть ниже . Развить и наполнить идею, заслуга талантливой Наташи Макдоналд. Она же все соркестрировала и собрала воедино. Огромная благодарности ассистентам “Синей Птицы” Ане и Говинду.
Предисловие к истории.
Всю зиму и начало весны я усиленно готовоилась к выставке. Проект “Открытая студия” превратился в “Закрытую” или вернее в “Lock-down project”. Художникам было предложено вести дневник, делать фото, видео и, что еще душе угодно в условиях закрытых дверей. Свой записи я решила сделать на платье. На одном их платьев, которые я готовила для выставки. Буквально за пару дней до карантина я успела отпечать несколько шелкографических оттисков деревьев на текстиле. Пошив платьев и “мой карантинный дневник” находятся в процессе изготовления. Но именно они послужили иллюстративным материалом для проекта “Синяя птица”.
